Director, Graduate Enrollment, George Washington University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science

Ms. Brittany G. Wright is currently the Director of Graduate Enrollment Management & Advising at The George Washington University (GW) School of Engineering & Applied Science (SEAS). As Director, Ms. Wright manages the Office of Graduate Admissions & Student Services (OGA) which guides graduate students through their entire academic career- as prospective students, applicants, newly admitted students, and as enrolled students. Ms. Wright facilitates the development and implementation of strategic, data-informed marketing and recruiting efforts that include local, domestic and international markets, along with establishing academic agreements with key international partner institutions around the world. Ms. Wright oversees the graduate professional advising and student services efforts that are designed in conjunction with academic departments to improve retention, increase student satisfaction and maintain accurate student records. The SEAS OGA team is composed of ten professional and administrative staff members along with student workers and a graduate fellow. Ms. Wright travels extensively to Europe, the Middle East and Asia to recruit students, interact with employers and alumni, present at professional conferences and establish international programs and partnerships for GW SEAS.
Since 2009, Ms. Wright has been an active member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. From 2013 - 2015 she served as the Region 8 International Enrollment Management Knowledge Community Liaison and presented at numerous regional and annual conferences. Ms. Wright started her career at GW’s Elliott School of International Affairs in 2009 shortly after receiving a B.A. in International Studies with minors in Economics and Spanish from the State University of New York at Cortland. She joined the SEAS Office of Graduate Admissions & Student Services upon completing a M.A. in Education and Human Development with a concentration in International Education from GW in December 2010.
