Chiara Fumagalli is a Full Professor of Economics and the Dean of the Undergraduate School at Bocconi University. She completed her degree in Economics at Bocconi in 1994 and earned her PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2000. She is a Research Fellow at Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), contributing to the Industrial Organization and Organization Economics groups, and is also a member of the CEPR Research Policy Network for Competition Policy. Since 2014, she has served on the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy for the European Commission. Since 2022, she has also been an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization. A dynamic academic leader, Chiara Fumagalli oversees Bocconi's undergraduate programs, ensuring a high-quality learning experience that blends academic rigor with real-world exposure. Through her leadership and vision, she continues to guide students toward impactful global careers and transformative educational journeys.
